Missionary Care Center

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible and authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal, tangible return in power and glory.

We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit through the sacrifice and shed blood of Christ is absolutely essential for the salvation of lost and sinful man.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling and sanctifying power the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and minister grace to this dying world.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; that they are saved unto the resurrection of life and that they are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of followers of our Lord Jesus Christ.

To provide a place of rest for evangelical, Christ-centered missionaries seeking personal and spiritual renewal in a rural setting, allowing God’s Word to refresh them in anticipation of new seasons of fruitful ministry to come. Through Bible study, spiritual reflection, fellowship, and recreation, our heart is to see missionaries nurtured in the love of God, strengthened in faith, and renewed in passion for their calling.

To see Christian missionaries refreshed in heart through personal and spiritual renewal, rising to their full potential and wholeness in Christ for the glory of God and the advancement of the Gospel.

Godliness: Showing reverence to God in thought, word and deed; praying at all times; showing complete dependence on God; being rooted in God’s word; have a fully Spirit-controlled lifestyle of love, humility and hospitality.

Truthfulness: Being true in everything before God and man; holding high standards of sincerity, holiness, and loyalty; service to others with integrity and honesty.

Faithfulness: Committing ourselves sacrificially to God-given vision with passion for Christ and for souls; persevering in spite of pressures and persecutions.

Fruitfulness: Being effective and productive both in life and ministry; giving to God our best through good stewardship, excellence in performance and focus on His glory.

To serve Christian missionaries who follow the “Great Commission” as commanded by Jesus Christ, God’s Son, in Matthew 28:19-20 and who agree with The Haven “Statement of Faith.”

To encourage missionaries on sabbatical, home assignment, furlough or deputation to take time to have all their basic needs met: physical rest, spiritual renewal, and emotional refreshment.

To provide an atmosphere for missionaries to renew their focus and relationship with God through spiritual reflection, Bible study, physical exercise, rest, and fellowship in order to be restored to their full potential of ministry on the field of their calling for the glory of God and the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

To inspire individuals, churches, and mission organizations to see their missionaries as an extension of themselves to the world.
